I wrote an article for Northeast University’s blog” ReConnect” talking about what’s happening in the world of taxi, for-hire, UberX, Lyft, Sidecar, and limousine regulations.  Here’s the link – let me know what you think.

The issue of Taxi versus Pink Mustaches is a tough one. I am all for innovation, and moving forward. At the same time, as your article points out, it is so much more than that. I so wonder sometimes when using Uber, where did this person learn to drive? The side I haven’t heard mentioned is that many, many of the taxi’s I have ridden in over the years all over the US, I get out at my destination and have to say a prayer of thankfulness because I thought I would die on the way! I hope all sides can find some common middle ground, and that in the end the entire city benefits!
